Your nails need oil too, coconut oil.

Everyone’s nails are different but have one thing in common; they need to be thoroughly taken care of. Whether long or short, your nails should get the same attention you give the rest of your body to avoid infections.
Our cuticles are one place on our body where we know it’s there but tend to forget to give it a little extra love. We sometimes think moisturising our hands would be enough but, in all honesty, it is not. Cuticles are thin layers of clear skin that grow around the edge of your toenails and fingernails. It provides a barrier to protect your nails from infection. So why not ensure that area is clean to protect your nails?

Coconut oil is packed with vitamins, minerals, carbohydrates and is a “cure-all” fatty acid. Using this oil on your nails can show improvements that will shock you. You will start to notice damaged cuticles becoming rejuvenated, cracked nails strengthening, and nails growing stronger.

Hangnail Prevention. OUCH!

Have you ever experienced a hangnail? 😭. That has got to be one of the worst pains ever! How do they even start?? Well, the source can range from a bad manicure to overexposure to water. If this ever happens to you, soak the area in warm water for no more than 15-20 minutes, and then massage a little coconut oil to your cuticles to prevent another one.

Nails Strengthener 💪🏿

TLC is needed for keeping your nails healthy and strong. Nails can break, it happens. However, making sure they grow back stronger is the key. Adding coconut oil to your nail routine not only strengthens your nails but also hydrates. Coconut oil is also a great ingredient for treating brittle and cracked nails.

Nail Fungus

Though nail fungus is common, who wants to deal with it? Coconut oil is filled with fatty acids that will act as your protector against fungus. It will break down the fungal membrane causing it to clear up. You can even rub the oil all over your hands and feet to keep the skin soft and supple. If “one size fits all” was a product, it would be coconut oil. You can use it for everything under the sun!
